Second album, released in 2023 on the Russian label “Butman Music”. It is based on classic instrumental jazz compositions from the 50s and 60s. XX century, never before performed vocally. Lyrics written especially for the group by jazz journalist Polina Koryagina, an expanded brass section and a string quartet, large-scale arrangements, unconditional respect for the genre, convincing performance and Anastasia’s sense of style brought the album a nomination for the JAZZ 89.1fm Radio “Release of the Year” award, and critics and listeners “Jazzville” was rightly called one of the brightest releases of Russian jazz in recent years.
The debut album «Some Like It Jazz», recorded at the Moscow studio CineLab and released in 2019 on the famous Japanese label «Venus Records» was highly ranked by the world jazz press. Based on the best traditions of the jazz mainstream, the album is very diverse: well-known compositions by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Benny Golson, Cole Porter in the original, deeply developed versions of the band, as well as less popular compositions, which, according to critics, represent the main aesthetic value of Anastasia Lyutova album. In 2020, Some Like It Jazz was also released on vinyl.
